Town Receives $23,353 Back Street Grant

The Town of North Bend was recently notified it will receive $23,353 (50% cost share) in State Local Road Improvement Program funds to reconstruct Back Street.  As part of the project, the contractor will excavate existing pavement, re-establish a crown, install asphalt curbing for drainage, and replace a culvert at the southernmost end of the street. Total project costs are expected to be approximately $47,000.  The town will solicit competitive bids in two consectutive Class 2 notices sometime this Spring.  We anticipate project completion in 2020.  Further updates on this project will be provided via this website.
