TESTING ELECTRONIC VOTING EQUIPMENT
FOR THE
NOVEMBER 6, 2018 ELECTION
Under Wisconsin State Statute 5.84(1), public tests of the electronic voting equipment will be
held to ascertain that the equipment will correctly count the November 6, 2018 votes cast for all
offices and on all measures. All tests are open to the public.
Town of North Bend

Sarah Henderson, Clerk
608.317.8325
The test shall be conducted by processing a pre-audited group of ballots so marked as to record a predetermined number of valid votes for each candidate and on each referendum (when applicable). The test shall include for each office one or more ballots which have votes in excess of the number allowed by law in order to test the ability of the automatic tabulating equipment to reject such votes. An errorless count must be made before the Clerk can approve the equipment for use in the election.
