Patterson Road was one of three completely washed out
During July of 2017, a storm dumping 6 inches or more of rain wreaked havoc on Township Roads costing the Township in excess of $70,000. Among those completely washed out and/or receiving major damage were: Baird, Patterson, Lee School, Ridge Trail, Hall, Bucholz, Erickson, and many others. Immediately following the storm, Township personnel applied for Federal Emergency Grant Agency (FEMA) compensation and the fruits of those efforts are finally appearing in the form of financial aid. To date the Township has received $43,727.60 in Federal and State disaster relief funding. The remaining portion is expected to be received by the end of the year.
